One Child Rule
The One Child Rule is a law that was passed to help decrease the population in China. I think that the law is not worth having because the Chinese are killing and ruining children’s lives. If the population is too high in China they should say not to have three or four children. If the parents do have more children they should not have to get rid of the child because it is already alive. If the parents put the child in the orphanage then the orphanages will get to full. If the orphanages get to full then the Chinese people will have to pay more taxes so someone else can take care of all of the children. I do not like the One Child Rule and I do not believe that killing children is worth lowering your population.

Dear John
Most books and movies and even choices in our life are based off the book Romeo and Juliet. I am reading the book Dear John and it is a lot like the book Romeo and Juliet. Because in both books the character are both head over heels for each other and they can’t stand to be away from each other. There choices in their lives bring them closer or farther away from each other. In the book Romeo & Juliet when Romeo kills Tybalt he has to make the choice to leave the city and never see Juliet again or face the consequences of getting in trouble for seeing her again. Even most Disney movies have the same plot line as Romeo and Juliet. The two characters meet, fall in love and they have to make choices that ruin their future but in the end they realize that they need each other.

Common Cause of Death
Lies in the hands of the teachers
The second part of this article is called “The Schooling Students Get” in this part it did a study of observing classrooms for more than 20 years. They only observed AP classes as I read this it was very awkward to read because nobody talked in the classes they would just listen to the teachers and take notes. The kids in the class seemed as if they didn’t have very good communication skills. In all of my classes almost every one talks and adds comments to what we are talking about. If there are people that don’t talk the teachers try to bring the kids into the conversation. I like that kind of environment because I feel more open in this type of classroom.
In the last article “Rigor for the 21st Century.” In this paragraph they talked about how people are just taught to pass tests not to know what to do with the information. If the teachers work with the students so then they can get better at interacting with people. They also say that the online schools only help you with four of the seven skills which you need all of the skills to excel in your job life. In the big picture most of these point lies in the hands of the teachers.
